Please Note: We recommend that you are directly connected from your computer to your modem during the setup

VDSL Setup (Upload speeds are greater than 1mbps)

1. Navigate to the modem's web interface. (http://192.168.1.1) or (http://tplinkmodem.net/)
2. Click on Quick Setup on the left, then Next.
3. Make sure to set the Region to Canada, and Time Zone to your time zone; then click Next.
   • NOTE: Usually is (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada); Bogota, Lime.
4. Choose xDSL Modem Router Mode, then click Next.
5. In the ISP List make sure we choose Other, then click Next.
   • Make sure Enable Vlan ID is checked and the VID is set for 35, then click Next.
6. To setup in routed mode choose PPPoE then click Next.
7. Input your DSL username and password (you will have to confirm the password).
8. The rest is the setup of the wireless portion for the 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz bands, choose the SSID (network name) and Password they want, and click Next.
9. Then on the Confirm page click on Save.
10. Then the device will test the connection.
